Mark
Moultrup is a jazz pianist, vocalist, composer, arranger,
and educator. His compositions are featured on his CDs
and cassettes, and have also been heard on promo spots,
childrens' CDs and television. He has produced for other
artists as well as for himself, and has written arrangements
for a variety of ensembles from trio to big band. He is
active in local schools, conducting music clinics and
lending his talents to high school drama, and theater
activities. In the year 2000 Mark co-founded and co-directed
the Petoskey Jazz Festival. Mark has performed and recorded
with a diverse array of notable artists including Smokie
Robinson, Mike Stern, Marcus Belgrave, Eddie Kendricks
and David Ruffin, Leslie Gore, Lou Christie, Johnny Trudell,
Lincoln Goines, and Rodney Whitaker. |
