Argentinean
born Chicago musician, comes from a generation of musicians
that participated in the birth of Argentinean National
Rock in the 80's. Damian belongs to a large chain of
family musicians including his Grandfather Edmundo Rivero,
one of the best Argentinean Tango singers of all time.
From his father, Muni Rivero, he learned voice interpretation,
guitar playing & music composicion. Damian has lived
most of his life in Argentina where he was a member
of the group "C-Men" together with his brother
Pelu Rivero, Marcelo Baliosian, Hernan Firpo, Guido
Smulevich, Pizu Rebecca & Gato Echenique and together
they played in most venues in Argentina. In the late
90's Damian was signed by Warner Music and his first
production was release in the market titled "Damian
Rivero" produced by Ish Ledesma & Adrian Posse.
The first track of his first release "Helena"
made it into the top 10 radio play rankings in Argentina.
He promoted his first release with tours in Mexico &
Argentina in numerous stages and a full TV promotion
on some of the most popular TV shows including "Siempre
en Domingo". In the year 2000 he traveled to the
USA where he continues to play at different venues in
Miami, Arizona & Chicago. While in Chicago he has
played at the Latino Professional Network Gala 2007,
"Totalmente Latina Tour 2002" together with
Pilar Montenegro & MDO, Chicago Fire's Xplosion
Rockera 2002, MLB All Star Game Latin Celebration 2003,
Voodoo Nightclub Rock Nights, Excalibur LatinStreetRock.com
Nights, Vida Lounge, Fundajo & Many other venues.
He also won the Chicago Latina Nation Tour Battle of
the Bands 2006 & He finished in the top 3 of 20
bands participating on The Miller "Banda Mas Chida
2006" Band competition. In early 2007 he signed
a management agreement with Latin Street Music president
& producer Andres Meneses & together they released
his second production "Con El Diablo En El Hombro".

18 time Grammy winning engineer Jon Fausty, Mastered
by Leon Zervos (INXS, Aerosmith, Maroon 5 & Midnight
Oil) at Sterling Sound in New York, Produced by Grammy
nominated producer Andres Meneses (Angel Melendez &
The 911 Mambo Orchesta), & Artistically Co-Produced
by Latin Grammy nominated engineer Mauricio Figueroa
(Juan Fernando Velasco).

nacido en Buenos Aires Argentina y residente de Chicago,
Damian pertenece a una generacion de musicos y artistas
que crecio escuchando las bandas que fueron parte del
resurgimiento del Rock Nacional (Argentino) de los 80's,
influencia que no se puede negar al escuchar su musica.
Proviene de una familia de musicos; su abuelo Edmundo
Rivero fue una de las voces mas importantes del Tango.
A su vez Damian tomo como ejemplo a su padre Muni Rivero
de quien aprendio la interpretacion en el canto, la
guitarra y la composicion. Damian ha vivido la mayoria
de su vida en Buenos Aires donde formo parte del grupo
de Rock C-MEN junto a su hermano Pelu Rivero, Marcelo
Baliosian, Hernan Firpo, Guido Smulevich, Pizu Rebecca
y el Gato Echenique, tocando en los escenarios mas importantes
del under Argentino. A fines de los 90's Damian es firmado
por Warner Music y registra su primer trabajo discografico
titulado DAMIAN RIVERO producido por ISH LEDESMA y ADRIAN
POSSE; el primer corte, "Helena" logra posicionarse
dentro de los Top 10 en los rankings radiales de Argentina.
Damian ha viajado en gira por Argentina y Mexico realizando
numerosos Shows en ambos paises y apariciones en TV.
En el 2000 viaja a USA y se presenta en diferentes clubs
de Miami, Arizona y Chicago; MIentras en Chicago, Damian
se ha presentado en el Latino Professional Network Gala

Band competition. En 2007 Damian firma con Latin Street
Music Inc para producir su segunda produccion discografica
"Con El Diablo En El Hombro". "Con el
Diablo en el Hombro" fue mezclada por el ingeniero
ganador de 18 premios GRAMMY Jon Fausty, fue masterizada
por Leon Zervos (INXs, Aerosmith, Maroon 5 & Midnight
Oil) en Sterling Sound en New York, producida por el
productor nominado a los Premios Grammy en 2004 Andres
Meneses (Angel Melendez & The 911 Mambo Orchesta),
& Co-producida artisticamente por el ingeniero nominado
a Los Grammy Latinos en el 2007 Mauricio Figueroa (Juan
Fernando Velasco).
